The R in its name references Harley's flat track racing history. This Harley Davidson 2007 XL 883R Sportster comes with a single Harley seat, original 2-up Harley seat, Vance & Hines performance exhaust system and original ceramic Harley exhaust. Part of this package includes an original Harley Helmet and reflector jacket.
This hot bike is powered by a fuel-injected Evolution V-Twin powertrain with new cams. This engine is finished with a wrinkle-black powdercoat. The gauges on this Harley include a clock, odometer, low fuel warning light and two trip set odometers. The exertion required to depress the front brake lever has been reduced by 14 percent and clutch lever effort is eight percent easier. It has 13-spoke cast Aluminum wheels. The lowrise handlebars, fork sliders, headlamp eyebrow, air cleaner cover and rear springs are finished in black. Fuel tank logo were inspired by the original racing Harleys.
The Evolution V-Twin 883cc engine is rubber mounted and has standard electronic sequential port fuel injection (ESPFI). This bike had dual front disc brakes and a chrome staggered shorty dual exhaust system. Mid mount foot controls make this a great bike for shorter riders and it has the classic 3.3 gallon gas tank.
