This compact but spunky 2005 Harley Davidson XL Sportster 883L has been designed to be optimal for smaller riders. The seat for this Sportster is just 26 inches off the ground which makes it the shortest Sportster so far and the solo seat is placed further forward on the bike and the wide polished handlebars are pulled further back this along with the mid mounted foot controls give shorter and smaller riders better and easier control. Both the front and rear suspension have been lowered which makes it much easier to lift the bike off its kickstand.
The enlarged rear axle on this Sportster 883L gives the bike greater stability and the stiffer swingarm offers the rider noticeably more precise handling. This small Sportster has a rubber mounted 883cc XL Evolution engine that offers a smoother ride. This engine has a powder coating of silver and polished silver covers. Chrome staggered shorty dual exhaust give this nice little bike a real racy look.
