SELLERS DESCRIPTION
This classic Harley Shovelhead FLHT Electraglide was completely restored from the frame up in 2010. The engine has been opened up to 1340cc and the old 4 speed has been replaced with an overdrive 6-speed. Many new or rechromed shiny bits. All tin has been taken down to bare metal and repainted in a two stage polyurethane with clearcoat. New custom Saddleman leather saddle for those long rides without getting swamp ass. All worn parts were replaced with genuine HD parts, no cheap knock-offs on this bike. Even the new wide whitewall radial tires are Harley Davidson branded! Sweet running and ultra reliable.
This is the real deal. Pull up to an intersection and observe the wannabe bikers with their ape-hanger equipped 150cc bikes stare at the monster you have throbbing between your legs. It's not called a HOG for nothing!
Shovelheads are, in my opinion, the last good looking engine Harley designed. Compare it to later EVOs and you will see what I am talking about. Classic looks, modern-day reliability. This thing is a torque monster and I rarely have to downshift to go up hills.
My bike is legally registered in Costa Rica with an up-to-date Riteve.
